Other Realms - Blood Bowl Season 8: New Blood Rising

HOW IT WORKS

• Teams will start at 1,000,000 gold pieces. This is used to purchase your players, coaching staff and re-rolls. Any remaining gold will go into your team treasury to be spent later on inducements, players, or other things.
• Your starting team must have at least 11 players, and follow the guidelines listed for each team  in the rules.
• Only teams found in the Third Season Edition Core Rulebook, all current Spike! Magazines and the Teams of Legend PDF located on the official Warhammer Community website.  
• Proxy models may be used. Proxy models must be legal size to use on the Blood Bowl pitch (Cannot have a base larger than one square). 
• Appropriate accommodations need to be made so that each proxy can be easily distinguished from the other players on your team (such as writing the role on the base, using the same model pose for each of that role, etc.)

TEAM REGISTRATION

• Late sign ups risk not being able to play, or suffering a 'Late Team' Penalty of 100k gold.
• The League will be ran through Best Coast Pairings, players will be responsible for keeping track and managing their own team rosters.
• Rosters should be uploaded on Best Coast Pairings by February 22nd.

THE GAMES!

• Match fixtures will be posted the Sunday before the play period, and players will have two weeks to complete their game.  Matches must be reported by 6pm on the second Sunday.
• Unreported Games by the 6pm Deadline will be considered a loss for both teams.
• Other Realms will have tables available for players to sign up and use, and how will be communicated in the email package when a player signs up, otherwise it is encouraged to play your games when and where you can.
• During each game, each player is responsible for having their team, dice, markers and a way to keep track of score and re-rolls, their team roster, and a copy of the core rulebook to conduct the procedure for season play and leveling up.  Having a rules reference on hand also helps.
• You must also have a way to update your team, whether it's online or offline, you must be able to keep track of what changed.
• Wins are 2 points, Losses are 0 points, Draws are 1 Point.  Bonus points will be awarded to teams as described in the Core Rulebook, page 83.
• Teams are allowed Friendly games in-between their league games, but no Star Player Points or winnings will be awarded, and any players that are injured will be considered to have rolled "Badly Hurt" on the Casualty Table. (Core Rulebook, page 83)
• Games that don't have a winner by the end of regulation will result in a tie.
• Star Players may be hired as an inducement as described in the Core Rulebook.  Star Players from the Core Rulebook and the Star Players PDF on Warhammer Community may be used.

PRIZES, FAME AND GLORY!

• The top 4 teams will make the playoffs!
• The playoffs will be a single elimination tournament, with seeding decided by regular season standings.
• Games that end in a tie will enter into an extra half, and any further ties will be decided by a penalty kick-off, both which are described in the  Core Rulebook.
• Prizes will go to top finishers in the form of Other Realms Gift Cards!
