MTG Foundations Prerelease

Whether you've been playing since 1993 or are taking your first steps into the Multiverse, Magic: The Gathering Foundations is everything exciting about Magic in one set.

 With iconic Planeswalkers, powerful spells, and fan-favorite reprints, there's sure to be something for everyone. Plus, Foundations will be legal in Standard until at least 2029, so you can enjoy these cards for many years to come across tons of different decks.

Prereleases are your first chance to crack open packs and play with the newest cards in Magic. The fun takes place here, emphasizing social game play over competition.

You'll experience the thrill of opening Foundations cards for the first time with other Magic players.  Everything you'll need to play will be provided as part of your entry fee—you simply show up and play!

Prereleases are some of the most fun, Magic events around. Gather with a bunch of other Magic players who love the game as much as you do, and make new friends as you all dive into the uncharted waters of the new set together!

Prereleases are Sealed Deck format events, where you build a minimum 40-card minimum deck using the contents of a prerelease pack plus basic lands that may be provided to you by the store.

The Foundations prerelease pack includes:

• 6 Foundations Play Boosters
• 1 foil, year-stamped Rare or Mythic Rare
• 1 deck box 
• 1 Spindown die

Format: Sealed Pre-Release Package, Swiss rounds​​.

Players only!  No spectators please.

Cost $30.00  (must play at least one full round)

            $35.00 for walk-ins on day of event (if space is available)

Prerelease packs will be available starting Friday, November 8, 2024 for PLAY-AT-HOME use.   Cost $35.00
