MTG Tarkir Dragonstorm Prerelease

Tarkir is now bigger and bolder than ever, filled with cinematic action, dynamic clan gameplay, and powerful new dragons that add lasting firepower to your collection.

Prereleases are your first chance to crack open packs and play with the newest cards in Magic. The fun takes place here, emphasizing social game play over competition.

You'll experience the thrill of opening Tarkir Dragonstorm cards for the first time with other Magic players.  Everything you'll need to play will be provided as part of your entry fee—you simply show up and play!

Prereleases are some of the most fun, Magic events around. Gather with a bunch of other Magic players who love the game as much as you do, and make new friends as you all dive into the uncharted waters of the new set together!

Prereleases are Sealed Deck format events, where you build a minimum 40-card minimum deck using the contents of a prerelease pack plus basic lands that may be provided to you by the store.

The Tarkir Dragonstorm prerelease pack includes:

• 5 Tarkir: Dragonstorm Play Boosters 
• 1 Clan-themed Tarkir: Dragonstorm Prerelease Booster  
  • Includes 14 Magic: The Gathering cards
• 1 Traditional foil year-stamped rare or mythic rare card
• 1 Deck box 
• 1 Spindown die (matches the Prerelease Pack's clan) 

Players will be given a RANDOM number when they check in at the store and that number will determine the order in which players choose their prerelease kit.  Clan choice will be one of the following: Abzan, Jeskai, Sultai, Mardu or Temur.  Your choice of clan box is not guaranteed.

Format: Sealed Pre-Release Package, Swiss rounds​​.

Players only!  No spectators please.

Cost $35.00  (must play at least one full round)

            $40.00 for walk-ins on day of event (if space is available)

PRIZES!

Prerelease packs will be available starting Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 3:30pm for PLAY-AT-HOME use.   Prices will vary.
