August 22 and 23, 2026
Time: 10:30am each day and running till 4:00pm - 5:00pm.
- If you can not commit to entire time on both days, please do not sign up.
- There will be a lunch break each day and there are a couple of restaurants in the area for take out or you can bring your own.
- Two soft drinks will be provided each day.
Miniature
We will be working on a Games Workshop Captain in Gravis Armour miniature (included in workshop fee)
- The miniature will be given out ahead of time and should be cleaned, built and primered beforehand, instructions will be provided.
- Note: it is not expected to finish the mini over the weekend, it will be used for practice and techniques which then can be continued on your own.
What you should bring
Daylight lamps will be provided. We encourage you to bring your own special light/magnifier with an extension cord. We will do our best to hook it up.
- Your favourite paints, like Games Workshop, Army Painter Fanatic, Pro Acryl, Vallejo acrylic colors. The course will focus on mixing, so paints that are good for that will help, like artist inks and Kimera. Don’t worry about not being able to bring these as the instructor will also be bringing some that can be used
- Good brushes of varying sizes ranging from 0-2: Kolinsky sables, or high-end synthetics
- Wet palette (if you never used one before, bring a shallow lid or bowl and we can make our own)
- Optional miniature painting holder
- Optional magnifier glasses
